WIP of a doodle.
Le gasp! I’m actually using my tablet this time! I just felt like drawing something in the process of trying to nom the viewer’s face. And that is a nom and not a happy tackle. The dire wolves use their ‘ears’ as a threat display (so the fact that they’re up and forward is a good sign to GTFO) and their snouts aren’t very flexible so they don’t get wrinkly and snarly. It’s kind of hard for those not of their species to tell their moods unless they’ve lived around them their whole lives.
Anywhoos, probably going to futz around with the mouth some more because it looks so flat. I am terrible at front views and making them 3D so I’m really trying to push myself here. I have a really bad habit of drawing side views all the time aaaaand it shows.

Sticking this guy up by himself, just because.
For sale on my Etsy shop, along with Night Raider.

An alien species I’ve been working on FOREVER. They look way different then when I started, like ridiculously so. I’m rather satisfied with this design though, so I’ll probably only make slight changes before I get into cultural stuff about them.
Oh and figuring out how they see depth with only heat signatures to go by (which means I may need to add an extra sense to their repertoire, but I don’t want it way out in left field like psychicness or something, not for these guys). And figuring out if that prehensile tailbit is actually sensical.
